This lot comprises three silver commemorative coins, each individually housed in a protective acrylic capsule. The collection includes one 1990 Alderney Two Pounds coin, struck to commemorate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. The obverse features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse depicts the Queen Mother within a floral border of roses. Also included are two identical 1997 Turks and Caicos Islands Five Crowns from the Lady of the Century series. These coins commemorate the 1937 Coronation and feature the conjoined portraits of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on the reverse, with a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. These commemorative issues are typically struck in .925 sterling silver for the proof editions.
