A UK 2021 Annual Proof Coin Set issued by The Royal Mint, comprising thirteen coins and one commemorative medallion. The set is housed in the original black presentation case with an accompanying Making History information booklet. The collection features five commemorative issues: a 95th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II five pound coin, two two pound coins for the 250th Anniversary of Sir Walter Scott and the life of H.G. Wells, and two fifty pence coins for the 50th Anniversary of Decimal Day and the work of John Logie Baird. The set also contains the eight definitive circulating coins of the year from one penny to two pounds, including the bimetallic one pound and two pound denominations. All coins are struck to proof standard, characterized by frosted motifs against mirrored fields. The coins are composed of base metal alloys including cupro-nickel and nickel-brass.
