A 2016 United Kingdom Definitive Coin Set issued by The Royal Mint. The set contains eight coins including the one penny, two pence, five pence, ten pence, twenty pence, fifty pence, one pound, and two pound denominations. The one penny and two pence coins are struck in copper-plated steel; the five pence and ten pence are in nickel-plated steel; the twenty pence and fifty pence are in cupro-nickel; the one pound is in nickel-brass; and the two pound is bi-metallic with a cupro-nickel centre and nickel-brass outer ring. All coins feature the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark on the obverse. The reverse of the 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, and 50p denominations comprise segments of the Royal Shield of Arms, while the one pound coin depicts the full Royal Shield and the two pound coin features the Technology design. The set is housed in its original printed presentation folders and a protective outer slipcase.
