A mixed lot contained within a blue plastic crate. The collection includes several vintage educational flashcard sets published by the Visual Education Association, Inc. (Vis-Ed). These comprise Greek (Classical) Vocabulary Cards by Alex Smith, Latin Vocabulary Cards, and Algebra Review Cards by John L. Baker and Robert J. Forma. The Greek set features a handwritten inscription of the name Alex Smith on the upper cover, while the Latin set bears the name Ian Smith on the lower edge.
The lot further includes an assortment of music media in CD and box set formats. This includes a large-format box set for Kurt Weill’s Die Dreigroschenoper (The Threepenny Opera) on the CBS Masterworks label, featuring Lotte Lenya and conducted by Wilhelm Brückner-Rüggeberg, noted as a Chromium Dioxide release. The cover art features an illustration by Oskar Kokoschka. Also present are several compact discs, including the Oscar Peterson Trio 1959 featuring Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen, Erroll Garner’s Misty, and a 2-CD Latin Jazz compilation from the Dejavu Retro Gold Collection featuring artists such as Airto Moreira and Cal Tjader.
