An assortment of vintage technical drawing and draughting instruments presented in various containers. The collection includes a velvet-lined wooden case containing nickel-plated and brass instruments such as dividers and compasses, with one component clearly marked RIEF, identifying it as the work of the German maker Riefler and another marked GERMANY. This case also houses a magnifying glass with a brass rim and a ribbed brass handle. A larger mahogany case with multiple internal slots contains a green plastic lettering stencil featuring alphanumeric characters. A heavily worn black hardshell case and a white plastic French curve marked with a 1/5 metric scale and numerical increments from 10 to 110 are also present. Additionally, a small cardboard box with a blue and black diamond pattern contains paper cards for Round Hand calligraphy nibs, with printed text referencing William Mitchell. Various loose components, including a metal disc, wooden-handled tools, and additional compasses, are contained within a blue plastic crate.
