This group lot contains an assortment of English ceramics and fine bone china, primarily from the mid-20th century. Featured items include a Royal Crown Derby teacup in the Derby Posies pattern, which bears a red backstamp including a crown symbol and Roman numerals XXXX, indicating a manufacture date of 1977. Also present are pieces of Poole Pottery earthenware from the Traditional range, including a lidded preserve or sugar jar and a corresponding saucer. These items are decorated with hand-painted floral sprays and multi-coloured concentric bands; the saucer base features a stamped Poole mark and handwritten painter initials jkw in blue ink. The collection further includes a tea plate with a transfer-printed central maritime scene of a multi-masted sailing ship, various teacups and saucers with floral decorations including a hand-painted purple tulip design, a cup and saucer with vertical green linear motifs and gilding, and a small reticulated dish with floral sprigging.
