An assortment of British earthenware and porcelain items, primarily comprising Royal commemorative pieces and decorative wares. The collection features a variety of transfer-decorated mugs celebrating Royal events, including the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary (1910-1935), the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (1937), and the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (1953). One 1937 Coronation mug is finished with a yellow glaze. Also included is a porcelain baluster-form vase decorated with transfer-printed and hand-coloured scenes of female figures in an orientalist landscape, topped with a geometric patterned neck. The lot further contains a partial white porcelain tea service decorated with silver-coloured lustre bamboo foliage, which includes two teapots, a lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, and a stack of saucers. One cream-coloured commemorative mug displays the printed backstamp Ideal Semi Porcelain, Made in England, with an intertwined monogram, a mark used by the manufacturer Burgess and Leigh.
