A collection of five Beswick and Royal Albert porcelain figurines depicting characters from the stories of Beatrix Potter. The group includes Mr Alderman Ptolemy, a tortoise carrying a net bag, bearing a Royal Albert backstamp dated 1989; Benjamin Bunny wearing a large green tam-o-shanter, with a Beswick backstamp; Peter Rabbit in his signature blue jacket, with a John Beswick Studio of Royal Doulton backstamp; Goody and Timmy Tiptoes, two squirrels sheltered under a large green leaf, with a Beswick backstamp dated 1986; and Mrs Rabbit and Bunnies, showing a mother rabbit carrying a basket of kits, with a Beswick backstamp. All figurines are finished in polychrome enamels with a high-gloss glaze. The undersides of the bases feature printed factory marks, copyright details, and various handwritten inventory numbers.
