A collection of decorative and commemorative ceramic items. The lot includes a pair of large, hand-painted ceramic figures modelled in 18th-century style costume. The male figure is depicted in a blue coat, orange waistcoat, and patterned breeches, holding a pink parasol. The female figure is depicted in a mob cap, blue bodice, and apron over a floral skirt, holding a wooden paddle. Both figures stand on integral rocky bases. Also included is a selection of mugs: a glazed ceramic mug commemorating the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, dated June 22nd 1911, featuring transfer-printed oval portraits; a mug commemorating the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana with a backstamp showing a crown above the word ROYAL; a mug decorated with a crown, floral emblems of the United Kingdom, and a view of Westminster Abbey; and a small vessel featuring a transfer-printed portrait of a dog signed Lucy Dawson.
