This collection consists of four static display model steam locomotives from the Great British Locomotives partwork series. Each model is constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components, mounted on a black textured plastic plinth representing a section of railway track. The group includes a BR Class 4MT 2-6-0 locomotive, running number 76066, in black British Railways livery; an LNER Gresley K3 Class 2-6-0 locomotive, running number 1902, in black LNER livery; a Class 5MT 4-6-0 locomotive, running number 44781, in black livery; and a GCR Director Class 4-4-0 locomotive, running number 506 Butler Henderson, finished in Great Central Railway green and red livery. All models are non-motorised and designed for static exhibition. Each is housed in its original clear plastic blister packaging with printed identification labels on the bases.
