A collection of three original tickets from the 1966 FIFA World Cup, for matches held at the Empire Stadium, Wembley. Each ticket is for the West Standing Enclosure, Entrance 51, accessed via Turnstiles J. The tickets feature the facsimile signature of Sir Denis Follows, Secretary of The Football Association. The trio comprises a ticket for an Eighth Final match on Monday 11 July 1966 (England vs. Uruguay), a Quarter Final ticket for Saturday 23 July 1966 (England vs. Argentina), and a 3rd & 4th Place Final ticket for Thursday 28 July 1966 (Portugal vs. Soviet Union). The tickets are professionally presented in a triple-aperture dark green mount and housed in a multi-layered frame with a marbled finish and decorative green and silver-toned bands.
