This lot comprises a diverse group of mid-20th-century items including physical culture periodicals, photographic equipment, and personal effects. The collection contains approximately 10–12 issues of Health and Strength: The National Physical Fitness Journal. Included is the Health and Strength Annual 1949, which features John Grimek (Mr. Universe 1948) on the cover, alongside several weekly issues dated June 15, 1950, December 30, 1950, January 25, 1951, and February 1951. The magazine covers depict various prominent bodybuilders and athletes of the late 1940s and early 1950s.
The photographic equipment consists of a Kodak Baby Hawkeye box camera, manufactured in England. The front faceplate is marked at the top with England, centrally with Baby Hawkeye, and at the bottom with Kodak. It is accompanied by its original cardboard box.
The lot also features a vintage circular pocket flask with a polished chrome finish and tan leather circular inlays on both sides, secured with a knurled screw-top cap. It currently bears a yellow auction lot sticker numbered 3831. Additionally, there is a small red leatherette or cloth-bound pocket book, which is debossed on the front cover with the Yorkshire Electricity Board circular logo and the text No. 6 Sub-Area.
