This lot features a collection of framed prints alongside a large quantity of assorted picture frames. The primary framed items consist of a large humorous print titled Come and join us, we’re having a grand time AT BLACKPOOL, which depicts a crowded open-top motor car with comic speech bubbles and a crate of Bass beer, presented in a black-painted frame with a red mount. There is a pair of smaller framed reproduction advertising prints; one for Champion Spark Plugs featuring a motorcycle and sidecar, and another for Lyle’s Golden Syrup showing two children with baskets of bread, both in similar wooden frames. Also included is a framed portrait print of a young girl in Victorian-style dress. The collection is supplemented by a clear plastic storage bin containing numerous picture frames in various sizes and finishes, including gilt-effect, dark wood, and light wood, as well as an oval wooden frame.
