This lot comprises two avian-themed decorative prints. The first is an unframed modern reproduction of a 19th-century ornithological illustration after Edward Lear (1812-1888), depicting a Greater Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Plyctolophus galeritus) perched on a branch. The sheet bears printed text reading PLYCTOLOPHUS GALERITUS. and Greater Sulphur-crested Cockatoo., with small text at the right margin stating Drawn by E Lear and Printed by Hullmandel. The second item is a contemporary giclée print on canvas showing a close-up detail of peacock feathers, in the style of Joseph Smit (1836-1929). This piece is housed in a modern gilt-finish frame. Neither piece displays an edition number or artist signature. The dimensions for these items are 22 x 31 inches and 19 x 32 inches.
