A pair of vintage hand-painted ceramic wall plaques produced by Cerámica Márquez S.A. in Aracena, Huelva, Spain. The relief-moulded plaques depict early 20th-century open-top touring cars in a stylised manner. The first plaque features a yellow car carrying four passengers in Edwardian motoring attire, including hats and goggles. The second plaque shows a green car with a driver, two children, and a woman in the rear seat wearing a large blue hat and holding a fan. The plaques are made of cast terracotta with a polychrome painted finish. The reverse of the plaques is unglazed and features impressed marks for cerámica márquez s.a. and aracena (huelva), alongside a castle logo, Made in Spain, and the code RFA 3 5 2.
