The composition integrates small fauna, with a squirrel perched upon a branch and a stag positioned at the base. The panel is housed within a simple dark-stained wood frame, with integrated feet at the reverse for freestanding display. A small white adhesive label bearing the printed digits 4470 is located on the upper-left corner of the frame. No further maker marks or signatures are visible.
