This lot consists of 6 bowls in the Royal Staffordshire Rural Scenes pattern by Clarice Cliff, alongside vintage cast iron metalware. The earthenware bowls feature polychrome transfer-printed central pastoral scenes depicting figures and buildings within a landscape. Each centre is framed by a wide, brown transfer-printed border of dense floral, foliate, and scroll motifs. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp in brown with the text RURAL SCENES, Royal Staffordshire Dinnerware by Clarice Cliff, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The metalware components include a polychrome painted cast iron cockerel figurine in a standing pose on a textured base, featuring red, orange, yellow, and green tones. Also included is a black-painted cast iron component with a tubular socket, possibly an architectural or domestic fitting.
