A set of 14 square ceramic tiles manufactured by H & R Johnson Ltd. Each tile features a relief-moulded geometric design, centred on a quatrefoil medallion within a circular border, accented by stylised foliate motifs at the corners. The decoration is finished in a vibrant red glaze against a textured off-white ground with a glossy surface. The reverse of the tiles bears the incised manufacturer’s mark H & R JOHNSON LTD and ENGLAND.
