This collection consists of six miniature glazed porcelain animal figurines from the Whimsies range produced by Wade Ceramics Ltd of Stoke-on-Trent, England. The assortment includes a recumbent giraffe finished in tan and brown glazes, a standing fox in reddish-brown and cream glazes, a seated mouse with large ears in grey and white, a seated puppy with brown patches on a white ground, a small seated bear cub in a light brown glaze, and a larger reclining animal in shaded brown and cream glazes. Each piece is crafted from moulded porcelain with a high-gloss glaze finish. The giraffe figurine retains its original gold and black foil label on the flank, which is printed with Wade in the centre, flanked by the words Made In above and England below.
