This lot consists of three glazed ceramic figurines depicting mice, produced by the British manufacturers Beswick and Wade. The collection includes a Beswick model number 1678, titled Harvest Mouse. This figure portrays a mouse in shades of brown and tan, perched upon a textured, stony-ground base while clutching a yellow cob of corn. The underside is stamped in black with the mark BESWICK ENGLAND and includes additional hand-painted marks in black and reddish-brown.
Also included are two figurines by Wade. The first is a seated mouse finished in a uniform light tan glaze. Its base bears the printed inscription LIMITED EDITION OF 1750, EXCLUSIVE FOR, DUNSTABLE WADE FAIR 1992. The second Wade piece, known as the Stilton Mouse, features a playful sprawled pose in a tan glaze. The base of this piece is inscribed in black script with Stilton Mouse and Goodie box Special 2001, identifying it as a Wade Collectors Club release.
