A cocktail ring featuring a large, vibrant pink oval-cut gemstone. The stone is held in an open-work four-claw basket setting with split-top prongs, mounted on a tapered white metal shank. The interior of the shank shows British hallmarks within shaped cartouches, though these are worn and individual marks are not clearly legible for definitive metal or date attribution. There is an additional illegible mark on the opposite side of the inner shank. The style of the ring and setting is characteristic of contemporary cocktail jewellery.
