An assortment of vintage costume jewellery brooches and clips featuring various styles and makers. Included is a large brooch by Judith Jack, featuring a central oval faux-turquoise cabochon set within a heavy, ornate silver and gold-tone frame bordered by small blue glass beads; the reverse bears a maker’s plaque signed Judith Jack. A Czechoslovakian dress clip is present, composed of an oval iridescent art glass cabochon with purple and blue swirls on a green base, set in a gold-tone filigree frame and stamped MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA on the reverse. The collection also includes a Scottish pebble style brooch in silver-tone metal with a central green hardstone cabochon and surrounding stone inserts, a smaller silver-tone Celtic knot and thistle motif brooch with multi-coloured inserts, a lozenge-shaped gold-tone brooch set with amber-coloured glass rhinestones, and a large gold-tone filigree brooch with a central faceted dark red glass stone mimicking a garnet. Pin mechanisms include simple C-clasps and roll-over safety clasps.
