A transparent light green Depression-era glass plate, featuring the moulded design identified as the Princess pattern. This pattern was originally produced by the Hocking Glass Company between 1931 and 1935. The plate is square in form with characteristic deeply scalloped corners and an ornate border featuring scrolls and floral motifs. An inner border of beaded dashes defines a square-in-diamond shape surrounding a central circular medallion with a four-lobed floral design. The glass exhibits a strong, bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, confirming the presence of uranium as a colouring agent. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible.
