A green depression glass luncheon plate featuring an intricate pressed pattern, commonly attributed to the Hocking Glass Company as the Princess pattern, produced between 1931 and 1935. The plate is of square form with characteristic rounded, multi-scalloped corners. The decorative scheme consists of a central diamond-shaped cartouche containing a stylized floral motif, surrounded by elaborate scrollwork, foliate patterns, and a beaded border along the inner shoulder. The pale green glass exhibits a strong, bright green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light, confirming its composition as uranium glass. No maker’s marks are discernible on the piece.
