A large decorative trumpet-shaped vase manufactured from opaque black glass. The vessel is designed with a tapered form that flares out to a circular base and a wide, deeply ruffled and crimped rim. The glass surface has a high-gloss finish throughout. At the thinner sections of the crimped rim, the glass may show a deep amethyst or purple tint when held to a strong light source. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or acid etches are visible on the base or body. A small white adhesive label is present on the interior rim.
