Two decorative boxes, including a square brass cigarette box, attributed to Kinco, and a wooden playing card box. The brass box features a lid and sides decorated with acid-etched foliate and arabesque patterns with black-pigmented infill, standing on four bun feet. The interior is lined with wood, possibly cedar, and the inner rim of the base is stamped with the numerical mark 312. The second item is a rectangular playing card box constructed from dark-stained wood, featuring white-metal stringing to the edges and three rectangular white-metal inlays to the lid and front, including a keyhole escutcheon. The interior is lined with a light-coloured wood and contains a partial deck of playing cards featuring a Japanese-style illustration of Mount Fuji on the reverse.
