This lot consists of two vintage men’s wristwatches by Sekonda, dating from the mid-20th century. The first timepiece is a Sekonda Autodate De Luxe model, featuring a 29-jewel automatic movement. It is constructed with a gold-plated tonneau-shaped case and a silvered sunburst dial with applied gilt and black baton hour markers and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The watch is fitted with a brown padded leather strap and a silver-tone buckle. The second timepiece is a Sekonda 17 Jewels model with a manual wind movement. It features a round gold-plated case and a white dial with printed black Arabic numeral hour markers, a minute track, gilt feuille hands, and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. It is fitted with a black crocodile-grain leather strap.
