A vintage Raytheon Type CK1712 cathode ray tube (CRT) designed for high-specification Cold War-era military radar or display systems, manufactured in the United States. The assembly consists of a large glass tube with a circular greenish-white phosphor screen, a conical metallic shield, and a deflection yoke assembly manufactured by Syntronic Inst. Inc. of Addison, Illinois. The yoke is marked with part number D7015-1, serial number 822617, and designation Y3492. The main Raytheon identification label details the following: Type CK1712, Serial No. 58750071, Code/Date 8251, and Part No. 462114. Additional stamped numerical markings on the metal components include 49956-736490-1 and 49956-462911 IFG, alongside a mechanical inspection stamp MECH 11 and an indistinct red emblem. This item is accompanied by two original Engineering Test Data sheets from Raytheon Sudbury dated 22 November 1982, which provide detailed performance results and cross-reference the tube and yoke serial numbers. The CRT appears to be in well-preserved, unused condition, retaining its original technical documentation and protective plastic film over the screen face.
