Buyer's Premium:

A collection of vintage commemorative rally plaques and badges primarily issued by various regional centres of the Caravan Club, now known as the Caravan and Motorhome Club. The items are constructed from printed plastic or similar synthetic materials and are predominantly triangular, shield-shaped, or circular in form. Many examples include pre-drilled holes intended for mounting to a vehicle or plaque board. The collection documents attendance at numerous rallies across the United Kingdom between 1961 and 1978, with a particular geographical focus on the East Midlands.

The plaques feature the official Caravan Club emblem, consisting of two concentric C characters enclosed within a horseshoe. Regional centres represented include the Notts Centre, Derby Shire (Derbyshire Centre), Lincs Centre, Yorkshire Centre, West Surrey, and Midland Centre. Notable commemorative items include a large circular plaque for the National Rally Sandringham 1977 held for The Queen’s Silver Jubilee. Specific rally locations recorded on the plaques include the Newark Agricultural Show (1970), Anglesey (1974), Rempstone Hall (1967, 1970), Stubton Hall (1971), Bognor (1973), Welbeck Abbey (1964), Elvaston Castle Country Park (1973), and Woodhall Spa (1962).

The lot also contains three circular embroidered fabric patches for The Old Station Presthope, Bladon Chains Woodstock, and Hargill House Scotch Corner, alongside a printed Rally Marshal label. The collection is presented mounted on white card backing within protective plastic sleeves.
