A contemporary low coffee table of plywood construction. The top is shaped in an elongated boat-like oval and is decorated with a hand-painted Union Jack motif. The red and blue painted sections are complemented by the natural pale colour of the wood which forms the white parts of the flag. The structure comprises two vertical, slightly splayed slab-style legs joined by a central horizontal shelf that serves as a stretcher. There are no visible manufacturer marks or labels.
