A three-piece cast metal garden bistro set comprising a circular table and two matching side chairs. The set features elaborate pierced openwork in the Victorian style, decorated throughout with a rose and foliage motif. The table is designed with a circular top containing a central floral medallion surrounded by concentric bands of roses, supported on a tripod base with three splayed legs and scrolling leaf motifs joined by a central circular stretcher. Each chair features a decorative balloon-style back with cast rose sprays and foliage above a circular seat with matching openwork geometric and floral patterns. The chairs are set on four splayed legs with foliate detailing to the knees. The set is finished with a black paint. The design is characteristic of the nineteenth-century Coalbrookdale style and subsequent twentieth-century revivals.
