A traditional garden bench featuring two decorative cast iron ends and horizontal wooden slats. The cast iron frames are designed with scrolled armrests and tapering, shaped legs. The seat and backrest are composed of seven wooden slats, which are secured to the metal framework with bolts. A single wooden reinforcement rail is located centrally beneath the seat for added stability. The bench is finished in a dark grey paint over an earlier red layer. No maker’s marks or foundry names are visible on the metal components.
