A lot comprising two pieces of decorative glassware executed in styles characteristic of mid-20th-century Murano production. The first item is a millefiori glass paperweight of circular, slightly flattened form, featuring a central top-facing facet that serves as a magnifying lens. The interior is decorated with concentric rings of millefiori canes in vibrant shades of red, yellow, and white, with some featuring blue starburst centres, all encased within clear glass. The second item is a small, free-form decorative glass dish or ashtray with an organic, pulled rim. This piece utilises the sommerso technique, featuring a central core of bright emerald green cased in a layer of amber and further encased in a thick outer layer of smoke-brown glass. No visible marks, signatures, or labels are present.
