A hand-blown studio glass vase produced by Mdina Glass, Malta. The piece is executed in the Lava pattern, featuring a vibrant internal casing of swirled orange, red, and yellow glass. This core is encased in a thick layer of dark, metallic-toned glass that has been manipulated to create an organic, web-like texture, leaving windows that reveal the bright interior colours. The vessel is designed with a bulbous body and a short neck terminating in a wide, flattened, and flared rim. The underside of the base is incised with the signature Mdina and carries a partial red circular paper label.
