A collection of surface-mounted rim locks and associated hardware, predominantly of British 19th and early 20th-century origin. The group includes a matching pair of Victorian cast and sheet iron rim locks, each featuring a latch and deadbolt mechanism and fitted with decorative tiered brass knobs. Also present is a large oak-cased stock lock dating from the 18th to 19th century, constructed with an iron internal mechanism and protective iron binding to the upper and lower edges. The collection further contains an industrial-style steel rim lock from the late 19th or early 20th century and a small 19th-century brass cupboard or cabinet lock. All items are provided with keys, including a tied iron skeleton key for the stock lock, a small iron barrel key, and a small brass key. Additionally, the lot includes a large decorative cast steel or iron key featuring a scrolled bow and a complex bit.
