A large-scale hand-painted collector’s figurine of the comic character Dennis the Menace, manufactured by Robert Harrop Designs as part of The Beano, Dandy Collection. The figure is depicted in his signature red and black striped jumper and black shorts, holding a loaded catapult in his right hand and a yellow sack inscribed AMMO in his left. He is standing in a dynamic pose on a base designed to resemble cracked pavement. To the rear of the base are impressed marks reading © DC THOMSON & CO LTD 1998 and RHD 1998, alongside an impressed oval containing a script signature for Robert Harrop. The underside retains its original circular paper label, identifying the model as BDB.01 BIG DENNIS and confirming it as an official Beano product.
