A Nao by Lladro glazed porcelain figurine depicting an old fisherman or sailor seated upon a rock. The figure is modelled with weathered facial features and a grey beard, wearing a traditional grey sou’wester hat and a dark blue-grey jacket over a blue and white striped shirt and light blue trousers. He is depicted holding a pipe in his right hand. The base bears the printed factory mark for Nao by Lladro, including the stylized galleon logo and the copyright date © DAISA 1978. Incised characters J and V are also present on the underside.
