A ceramic part service in the Autumn Leaves pattern, produced for Marks and Spencer and attributed to J. & G. Meakin. The pieces are crafted from refined earthenware, decorated with transfer-printed floral sprays in autumnal tones of yellow, cream, and pink with green foliage. Each item is finished with a hand-painted green line to the rim. The base of the mugs bears a printed backstamp in lowercase with the pattern name autumn leaves, the numbers 1418 / 3820, and MADE IN ENGLAND. There are also impressed marks stating MADE IN ENGLAND in a curved orientation and the number 12. The service includes a collection of mugs with D-shaped handles and straight sides, alongside plates and saucers with central wells.
