This collection consists of two boxed sets of flatware produced by Ensee Ltd of Sheffield, England. The primary set is a substantial canteen housed in a fitted wooden case with a red velvet-lined interior. The knives in this set feature polished stainless steel blades stamped with the maker marks ENSEE LTD, MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND, and STAINLESS STEEL. These blades are fitted into cream-coloured synthetic handles. The accompanying forks and spoons are made of silver-toned metal and are decorated with an ornate scroll and floral pattern along the handles. A decorative gold-toned badge featuring a crest and the word SHEFFIELD is fixed to the interior of the case. The second item is a smaller boxed set containing silver-toned teaspoons and pastry forks, each featuring decorative floral and scroll motifs. This set is presented in a textured white hinged case with a red interior lining.
