The first is a hurricane-style lamp featuring a polished brass-tone metal pedestal base, a clear glass chimney, and a spherical white milk glass shade decorated with blue floral transfers and gilt bands. The second is a boudoir-style lamp in the Fenton style, featuring a clear faceted glass base and stem supporting a brass-tone collar hung with clear glass faceted drop lustres. It is topped with a dome-shaped cranberry glass shade featuring a pressed lattice or quilted pattern and a loop finial. Both lamps are fitted with modern white electrical flexes and UK three-pin plugs.
