A collection of decorative trivets or wall plaques, each comprising a black-finished cast iron frame with an inset glazed ceramic tile. The tiles feature relief-moulded designs depicting various naturalistic subjects, including apples, cherries, a mixed fruit basket, daisies, tulips, a rooster, and a butterfly. The cast iron frames are cast in a variety of ornate shapes, including square and oval formats with scrolled handles and integrated hanging loops. This style of decorative kitchenware is widely associated with the Rossini brand from the mid-20th century. Adhesive labels bearing the numerals 4584 are present on several examples.
