This lot comprises an assortment of decorative household items including hand-painted wooden nesting dolls and various ceramic pieces. The Matryoshka dolls are in the Semenov style, decorated with traditional female faces and vibrant red floral motifs against yellow and natural wood grounds. The ceramic items include a moulded decanter in the form of a three-masted sailing ship or galleon, finished in a high-gloss dark brown treacle glaze and retaining its original cork stopper. Also included are several stoneware goblets of two distinct designs: one set featuring horizontal bands of brown and speckled grey glaze, and another set featuring incised sgraffito-style leaf decoration with white-lined details against a textured grey ground. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible on any of the items.
