This collection comprises 29 hand-painted bisque porcelain figurines and hanging ornaments from the Berta Hummel range produced by Goebel. The pieces are designed as festive decorations and feature children in various winter-themed scenes. The figures are dressed in traditional European-style winter clothing, including scarves, woollen hats, and heavy coats. Various activities are depicted, such as children playing musical instruments including drums, singing from sheet music, carrying festive wreaths and lanterns, and interacting with animals such as dogs and a large teddy bear. Most figures include a small metal loop at the top for hanging as ornaments. The bases are marked with blue printed factory stamps and incised model numbers.
