A collection of ceramic animal figurines, predominantly featuring models by Beswick and other similar potteries. The group includes a large Shire horse in a brown gloss glaze with white leg feathering, several horses and ponies in various poses and colourways including bays, chestnuts, and browns, with three examples mounted on integral green ceramic bases. Other farm animals comprise a Guernsey or Jersey cow in brown and white, a large bull in a dark brown gloss glaze, and a large grey sow. The collection also features a white swan, a small brown fawn, and a novelty figurine of a black pig seated upon a red book-shaped base. A selection of miniature figures is included, such as a black and white Border Collie-type dog, a green rabbit, an orange and white rabbit, and a small blue and white bird. The figurines are constructed from glazed ceramic with a high-gloss finish. One piece features a small white label on the underside.
