A pair of framed decorative prints after 19th-century oil paintings. The first work is a portrait after Aleksej Alekseevic Harlamoff (Russian, 1840-1925) depicting a young girl with dark hair and a red bow, wearing a white off-the-shoulder chemise and a necklace with a cross. This work is signed Harlamoff in the lower-left corner. It is housed in a gilt frame featuring a rope-twist border and a white mat with a gold fillet. The second work is a print after Charles Trevor Garland (British, 1855-1906) titled ‘The Love Letter’. The scene depicts a young girl in a pink dress seated in a Victorian interior, attending to a small black and white dog on a chaise longue with medicine bottles on a nearby table. This work is presented in an ornate gilt frame with scrolled corner and centre ornaments and a fabric-textured mat.
