A vintage cast metal belt buckle manufactured by The Great American Buckle Co. in 1984 and attributed to Harley-Davidson. The front features a central three-dimensional bald eagle with outspread wings set against a black enamelled background. To the right of the eagle is a raised banner with red enamel reading LIVE & RIDE, positioned over a partial motorcycle-style shield logo. The buckle is finished with a scalloped edge and scrolled decorative borders. The reverse contains multiple marks, including a circular maker’s mark for THE GREAT AMERICAN BUCKLE CO. U.S.A., a mark shaped like a map of the United States reading Made in the U.S.A., a raised rectangular bar marked COPYRIGHT © 1984, and a rectangular plate reading SERIAL NUMBER H 1417. The hardware consists of a pivoting metal D-ring belt loop and a standard mounting prong.
