This lot features two items of mid-20th century domestic utility. The first is a brass oil lamp of traditional design, featuring a stepped circular pedestal base and a globular reservoir or font. The lamp is constructed from polished brass and is fitted with a brass burner assembly and a slender clear glass chimney. It remains in its original non-electric oil-burning configuration. The second item is a vintage soda syphon with a heavy vertically fluted clear glass body. The glass is etched with the Schweppes Ltd circular logo and bears the Royal Warrant To Her Majesty The Queen, along with the text Mineral Water Manufacturers. A numerical mark 69 is present near the base of the etching, likely indicating a production date of 1969. The dispenser head is made of a cream-coloured synthetic material with a metal lever and screw-top cap.
