A set of twelve table knives featuring silver-plated handles and steel blades. The handles are designed in a tapered, octagonal Art Deco style known as the Sandringham pattern. Each handle is stamped with the official crest of the Cunard Steamship Line, depicting a crowned lion rampant holding a globe, with the uppercase text CUNARD positioned below. These items were produced for use as onboard service flatware for British transatlantic ocean liners. The construction consists of silver-plated handles fitted with steel blades. No British hallmarks for solid silver are visible on the handles, indicating they are electroplated nickel silver (EPNS).
