Two brooches of differing modernist designs. The first is an openwork abstract brooch in a yellow base metal, featuring a brutalist-inspired arrangement of organic shapes and raised spherical accents. The reverse is fitted with a hinged pin and safety catch on a soldered rectangular plate. The second is a circular relief brooch in a grey-toned white metal, possibly pewter, featuring a stylized foliate motif on a stippled ground. The reverse is fitted with a hinged pin and rollover safety catch. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on either piece.

White metal brooch: 42mm diameter.
