A George III style mahogany tray-top side table, constructed with a rectangular top featuring a raised border and decorative boxwood and ebony-style stringing. One end is fashioned with a pierced, scalloped handle, which is centred by an oval boxwood patera inlay depicting a radiating petal motif. The interior of the tray is inset with a fixed panel upholstered in a navy blue and silver-toned floral damask textile. The piece is mounted on a mahogany stand with four shaped and curved legs. A small yellow adhesive sticker is present on the interior of the stand bearing handwritten characters 3722 and 122.
